1979 Received First Degree Black Belt in Judo, Auburn Judo Club, Auburn, Alabama. Fred Mills, Sixth Dahn, Instructor.
1983 Began formal training in Kuk Sool WonTM - Traditional Korean Martial Arts, Kuk Sool WonTM of Alabama, Tuskeegee, Alabama. Seventh Dahn Master Marlin Sims, Instructor.
1990 Graduated Auburn University of Montgomery with a BA in Criminal Justice and two minors: Criminal Psychology and General Business.
1991 Appointed Chief Instructor of Kuk Sool WonTM of Alabama by Master Marlin Sims and the World Kuk Sool AssociationTM when Master Sims was assigned as Chief Instructor to West Point Military Academy. TM.
1992 Received First Degree Black Belt in Kuk Sool WonTM.
1996 Received Second Degree Black Belt in Kuk Sool WonTM.
1997 Opened and began operating Kuk Sool WonTM  Martial Arts Center at 420 Coliseum Boulevard, Montgomery, Alabama  36109 as a full time school..
1999 Received Third Degree Black Belt in Kuk Sool WonTM.
2001 Hired as Personal Defense Instructor for Hamilton Investigations.
2002 Assistant Fight Choreographer for the movie The Redeemer.
2003 Assistant Fight Choreographer for the movie The Warrior Queens.
2004 Received Fourth Degree Black Belt in Kuk Sool WonTM.
2005 Founded Montgomery Feathers and Steel in June.
2005 Joined the United Martial Science Federation on August 1.
2005 Inducted into the International Knife Throwers Hall of Fame on September 3, as Knife Throwing Promoter of the Year, 2005.
